SETUP

Start with the ledger you want to sync

Turn on iCloud sync on one Apple device first, then open the ledger on your other devices or on devices used by people you invite.

    Turn on iCloud sync for a ledger

    In GuGuFin, open the ledger’s sync settings and enable iCloud. Sync is off by default, so you choose which ledgers use iCloud.

    Open the ledger on another Apple device

    On another iPhone, iPad, or Mac signed in to your Apple Account, find the ledger in the iCloud ledger list and open it to keep syncing.

    Invite someone to join

    Send an iCloud invitation from the ledger’s sharing controls. Once the invitee accepts and opens the ledger in GuGuFin, they can join the same ledger.

Local-first, with cloud sync when you choose

GuGuFin is designed for local use. iCloud sync starts only when you enable it for a ledger, and uses Apple iCloud to sync with your authorized devices and invited members.

For the Apple ecosystem. iCloud sync and sharing are available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Cross-platform sharing between Android and Apple devices is still being planned.
